I am absolutely delighted to be working with such a great group of youth, and an outstanding group of adult leaders.  These really are amazing trips, and lives, both in Mexico and here, are impacted for eternity - all for the glory of our God.

Please be in prayer for the individuals on this team, for their hearts to grow towards the Lords, for spiritual growth, for a willingness to follow the Spirit, and for financial obligations that come with such a commitment to the team.

Please also be in prayer for our leaders, as they give up a fair bit to be a part of this team.  Pray for openness among their employers, for personal clarity, spiritual maturity, and for openness to the Spirit's guidance.

May the Lord's name be praised, and glorified through this team, and May His Kingdom expand here on earth, both in Tijuana/San Antonio Del Mar, and here in Abbotsford!

The team is FORMING!

Our Mexico team is FORMING!!

As of now, we've got 17 students, and 6 leaders - I am quite excited to see this team come together, and to see what the Lord has planned for the whole lot of us.

As I just wrote to the team, I cannot shake Paul's prayer for the Philippians, who were a pretty decent group of people, who did a whole lot of good for Paul, and for many others - in the name of Christ. Paul prays,

office door this morning!

[May] your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9-11) 

May our team, continue to already grow in their love, for each other, for the Lord, the missionaries we'll join in Mexico, and for the people whom the Lord will bring us to!

We've got a long journey ahead of us, and I'm not just talking about the 2000+km train ride, but a spiritual journey that will take us to so many places, and a financial journey - relying on the Lord for provision, and time - it's 8 months away.  But it'll go by pretty quick - before we know it, we'll be at the train station in Seattle ...
